Entering the castle of Monemvasia is like entering in a medieval fairytale. Well preserved, totally charming and brilliantly located, it is a unique specimen of fortified town, in Greece.
But if you want to take pictures in it, you should be ready to face a major problem. A problem that can be too overwhelming for the faint hearted!

I had three different walks in there, in two days and I could have taken one new picture every single second I spent, wandering around. Being in a place that it's too beautiful, can rarely be described as a problem but in this case, I just couldn't stop myself. I returned home with more than 400 photos and, to make things even worse, I like almost all of them :)

I have been looking at those hundreds of pictures, for a couple of weeks now and I couldn't decide how to deal with them. Finally I started editing them in chronological order and that's the way I am presenting them to you.

I know that a good travel photographer must have a plan and a story to tell, taking pictures to support the storytelling. But I am not a travel photographer, not anymore and I have the luxury to photograph intuitively and to show my pictures as I wish :)

And if you have found this place so appealing as I did and you are eager to invest in a house in Greece, the last two pictures (above and below) are from a building that is for sale. You can even see the owner's phone on the door, if you zoom a bit :)

Thank you very much! It's not as impressive as Dubrovnik in Croatia, but we like it :)

I almost quoted this quote for my comment but saw I wasn't the only one that got a laugh out of that line. hahaha Chronological is always my default when all else fails. Thanks for sharing. I wonder how much they want for that building there at the end.
Haha yes, there are many kinds of problems :)
As for the building I can't even guess but I imagine that it would be something outrageous!
Impressive shot, a postcard!!!
