Chicks photography

in Photography Lovers2 months ago

Last week in this post I told you about the adventures of one of our hens and I promised a proper shooting of the new chicks that were recently hatched. So get ready for some cuteness overload and let me tell you that those tiny creatures are not easy models. They move constantly and fast, not to mention how hard is to focus on them. But every year I spent some time annoying them with my camera. It is a little pleasure I can't deny to myself :)

Oh they are so cute!! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Katerina! I just love watching them :)

Adorable. Can't beat baby chickens - they really are the best!

Haha yes, I spend so much more time at the coop when there are youngsters around :)

I am living vicariously through everyone's chick pictures this year. Were there several roosters involved in the creation of these chicks? Or just mixed genetics for mom and dad?

Oh, no chicks this year for you?

Actually there were way too many roosters. 9 of them for 18 hens! It was starting to look like a battle field in there :)
We have left now 2 roosters but that happened after that hen started to hatch the eggs so a lot of genes in those chicks :)

So cute

Thank you :)

You're welcome
