Like the holidays last year, I went to eastern Estonia this time as well. On the road I made a stop at the Valaste waterfall and it was amazing to see.
There were so many frozen trees and the waterfall itself too. Valaste waterfall is the highest in Estonia reaching up to 30 meters.
Here are the trees that are frozen in the upper parts of the waterfall. They are like this because the strong wind has blown some water backward and that is getting frozen on the trees.
Dangerous stairs, it was so icy that it is really easy to break your back there.
Have you seen a waterfall like this before?
Definitely a spectacular sight to see.
That is wonderful! Is this a nature preserve, with wildlife too?
Those stairs look treacherous. You might want to get some crampons!
This is not a nature preserve. Just a waterfall location on the cliff ridge of northern Estonia.
Fortunately there's bot much of these stairs.
Good, let's leave the ice on the waterfall 😂
Amazing, this looks so much cool.
Nature❤️
Nature does amazing tricks!
Fantastic! 😍 It looks like an outside cave 😂. Amazing.
It must be extremely cold. Do you know how long it takes for this to happen?
It was quite cold yes. I don't think it takes too long to happen, just needs wind and water.
Really amazing !! Like you say..
It is, much more awesome to see in person than on photos tho.
