I have the images edited - Fuji's Classic Chrome simulation and tweaked the green quite a bit to bring it back close to how it looks in person. But yeah in general I really like Fuji's colors as well. And just the overall 'feeling' the camera captures I don't even know how haha.
Anything that is too much is not good.. I've read in one of the algae facts as well that about 250 million years ago, earth had a massive extinction and algae bloom almost prevented life to recover. Crazy how fast they grow despite the environment lol so I hope the clams will be able to control them.

Incredible research in the link you provided, but I am nowhere near scientific enough (or silly enough to pretend to be) to understand the level of detail - looking for the post-death biomarkers in the limestone offers an incredible insight.
Everything leaves its mark, we just have to look closely to find it.
