Stuff from last week

Self portrait.

Last week have been so busy I've lost track of time. Since I was painting the wheelchair, I have been going to the other house since there's no room here for me to paint anymore and the new house has no furniture yet, so very spacey. I was also recording the whole process of it so very nice to do it in a room with no other things around.

Self discipline

The new house is like 5 minutes away when the roads are all clear, but the area where I am now is very traffickish already, guess cos there's more subdivisions being built T-T So it takes roughly 10 minutes to get there. I had to force myself to change my sleep schedule quick and wake up everyday at 4am early.

My dad is a retired military, so you can imagine the scenario. 1 minute he be like chillin' with his coffee and 1 minute he be already starting the car and be like LET'S GO! I didn't even had the time to take a bath mostly. :/

Then since part of the house is still under construction, we had to be there the whole day and just bring food with us cos he prefers to just stay there instead of going home for lunch to not waste time. So, no internet and no other distractions, I got really productive LOL.

I was able to finish what I have to finish for maybe 5 days. It was fun going through that kind of stress again cos I can really push myself. I've never had that since college.

Artists' drama

While I was busy doing my traditional paintings, the digital art world in the crypto space just had another drama. I don't know what exactly happened, but a collector wants to cancel an artist on all platforms just cos he didn't agree with the "art" that he did.

Things like this don't surprise me anymore though. I mean there's always drama in every community, but artists' drama are just literally in a whole different level considering artists have different perspectives in art and life in general. I've only met some on Twitter and I'm already impressed by the philosophies they have in life and how they see art. There's really a diversity and you'll definitely learn something if you engage with them or even just observe.

Scenes like this aren't new either. It's pretty common for some artists to say "that's not art!" and collectors with influence trying to abuse their power. This is something we want to avoid in a decentralized space, but I guess this is still real life (just online) so it will still happen.

Of course, there will be more drama in the future as well and it will be intense, especially that artists are there to provoke. I mean looking at art history, it really happens a lot. XD

Right now, I just finished my works and I'm pretty relaxed at the moment. Maybe those stress pimples or whatever shit that came out of my face all of a sudden (despite my "skin care") can go away now.

That photo is also a photo of me from early this year. Thanks for reading my ramble.

Getting up 4 am and there is no internet :)) I think he trains you for the hard conditions but doesn't need to say to you lol... But on the other hand it is really productive to be away from all distractive things...But waking up 4 am...It looks very hard for me :) By the way nice self portrait..

He trains me indirectly lol but reason was he wants to be there early so he can be productive the whole day.. but I certainly have the choice to just go there by my own lol. But yeah it is indeed hard to wake up that early. Thank you!

I love the photo

Thank you! 😊

Ganda mo po Ate.

If Hive art or blockchain art gets into mainstream, there is bound to be friction. Crypto is already a growing niche subject. Adding the subject of crypto art just adds another layer of getting used to. I'm just glad what is written in the blockchain can't be totally censored as long as one has something that could read blocks.

Thank you! Di naman ako "ate" for sure mas matanda ka pa sakin hahaha. That is true, sooo much to learn about it.

Well well well, someone is out rambling lol, anyway I could relate with your father, he is my father's kinda type and well you can't get enough can you hahah. You painted a pretty good picture of the house and internet not be enable just killed me haha.
Well what can I say? People can have various perspective of what art is, this brings about lots of disagreement but then if a person has a uniquely personalised perspective to their art I mean this should be respected. Variety is the spice of life.

Cheers, how you doing?

Hahaha internet is a very big distraction anyway. Lol yeah fathers can be really strict with time sometimes. :/

if a person has a uniquely personalised perspective to their art I mean this should be respected

Yeah respect should be there always, by default. But then there's always gonna be someone who won't respect ideas and would target them personally lol.

I'm doing pretty well, just trying to go back to relaxing. It's like there's a jet lag from last week lol. How bout you?

gorgeous👍

Thank you! :D

It is perfect that you devote time to your art. I still don't want to get up at 4 o'clock. it's too early for me. you are a very beautiful portrait and a very beautiful woman.♥️

A flower accompanied by a spectacularly beautiful diamond, you are truly unique ..!
I'm glad that you no longer have so much stress and are a little calmer ..! besos hidde

What a lovely photo. You're so beautiful. :)

A retired military as a dad? I think you're so lucky to have someone to learn from. I am sure that his favourite word is discipline hihi. It's mine too.

Well hello curly hair! Lovely picture!

Yeah I learn a lot from him since he's like literally the all around type of dad, who knows all about survival lol. Thank you! :D

glad you had a great dad

Survival skills... So awesome.

What a lovely self portrait. Talented. I wanted to stop by and say "Thanks" for deciding to Follow my journey on Hive. I appreciate it.

You are correct in that everyone has different opinions and perspectives according to their internal and external points of reference.

Take care.
