Up Close. I think this is my most extensive photo shoot with a butterfly that I've had so far. A Junonia orithya based on the results from Google Lens. Find it rather difficult and tedious to photograph butterflies. After all, they always like to scurry around and usually settle down only briefly. But not this time. I could finally get closer and from all sides a picture.

Ganz nah dran. Ich denke, das hier ist mein ausgiebigster Photo Shoot mit einem Schmetterling, den ich bisher hatte. Ein Junonia orithya basierend auf den Resultaten von Google Lens. Finde es eher schwer und mühsam, Schmetterlinge zu fotografieren. Wuseln diese doch immer gerne herum und lassen sich meistens nur kurzweilig nieder. Doch nicht dieses Mal. Konnte ich endlich näher dran und von allen Seiten ein Bild bekommen.

One more time with completely unfolded wings. Nothing is perfect in our world and must therefore accept the plastic bag at the edge of the picture. All in all, the yield of pictures was more than enough, so no reason to get gloomy because of the one picture.

Einmal noch mit ganz aufgefalteten Flügeln. Nichts ist perfekt in unserer Welt und muss daher die Plastiktüte am Bildrand akzeptieren. Alles in allem war die Ausbeute an Bilder mehr als genug, kein Grund also wegen des einen Bild trübselig zu werden.
