Hello friends. This week I have to break my own record with the key subjet: Parched. I could see that the word caused a stir with the meaning and the truth is that for us Latinos it is difficult to interpret the concept exactly. But we do the best we can.
I found that Parched means: dried, tosted. So we are correct. I went out for a walk to look for my photographs for publication and I found this tree that is as the meaning describes, dry and toasted.
Although this tree has its roots planted in the ground, it is deteriorating in its trunk and branches.
In its trunk there are holes that show that some branches fell, perhaps due to lightning, perhaps because it was removed or simply the wind knocked it down because its signs of aging were already beginning.
I rather think that the years are already ending, as it happens with human beings. Plants are living things and the same thing happens to them.
