Hello itinerants all over the world and hive community! What's up with you guys? First things first, I'd like to thank those people who supported my previous post here in the #PhotographyLovers community. It really does mean a lot to me and I hope to learn more photography and editing skills along the way. I'm just really thrilled and excited each day reading and curating interesting posts in this wonderful corner of hive blockchain. Just a disclaimer, I'm not a professional photographer so please bear with me as I share my noob shots. I am very open with corrections regarding the photography terms that I might mistakenly use so please I beg you to always chime in to educate me.

For today's episode, I am going to share some of the portrait and wide shots I had with my cousin when I went to Davao City. It was kind of a short trip but I'm glad we were able to do a quick fun shoot. I'm really obsessed of portrait shots, I am not sure if I'm giving justice to the photos. If you also have some advice on how to play the camera setting I would really love to hear them. LET'S GET STARTED!

People's park is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Davao. Aside from it's just in the metro of Davao, people visit here every time since it is for free. Upon entering, you can see a lot of dove birds, which is really adorable to the eye. Before you can enter, you have to give your information detail at the entrance for security purpose. Then, you can finally have fun taking photos of these lovely birds. I just love this photo knowing it's really a candid shot. I didn't tell her to smile or act that way. The candidness of the photo just came out naturally.

Every time I go on a trip with family or friends, it is expected that I'm going to be their photographer and I really do love that. I've already said it before that I always find it satisfying seeing people smiling at me even jus through the camera. It's also one good way to improve my photography skills. You can see this big "I LOVE DAVAO" decor at the center of the park.

There are various human-sized or even bigger sculptures in the area depicting Davao's tradition, culture and people's way of living. This is one of my favorite sculptures showing the hard working people from a tribe of Davao carrying crops and vegetables.

They also have cute benches in the area. I guess they are designed for kids to play and they also look really nice on photos.

You will really get amazed by this huge Philippine Eagle Replica being placed at the center of the park. This is also to showcase to the foreign tourists our National Bird which is the Philippines Eagle. Good thing they have this as well so that it can somehow cover us if it happens to rain. You can also have a rest under the Eagle's wings when it's already too hot. My cousin Ella was literally just taking a rest there and I told her I was going to take a photo of her with the eagle.

I can really say that Parks are made for kids because I noticed that every parks always have a playground spot for children. People's Park in Davao really is one of the biggest parks I've seen and it's very neat. They also have enough equipment available to accommodate a number kids who want to play.

The photos show a farmer riding on a carabao while there's a woman riding at the back holding a basket which I believe they will use for harvesting crops.

By just visiting the People's Park Davao alone, you can already learn a lot about the Philippines' traditions and cultures. If you are planning to visit Davao, I highly recommend this place to stop by and enjoy Davaweños wonderful creation.

That's basically it, if it happens that you have visited the place already, please care to share your experiences in the comment section below. Everyone's glad to hear the stories of yours! Just always remember that learning is a lifetime process. You can learn from your experiences, trips and from other people. The world is so vast. Explore and Learn! Traveling isn't is as expensive as you think! There's a so called travelling on a frugal way with a purpose! I will be posting the second part of my Singapore Trip as soon as possible. Stay tuned then.
