Playing with rocks on Mount Lafayette, New Hampshire, USA (5 pics)

Interesting fact, the Mount Lafayette mountain is named after a French military hero of the American Revolutionary War, General Lafayette, which was very appreciated by George Washington.

No matter what country I'm in, no matter what time of year, I always see those cute little mountain of rocks formation in my path on my mountain walks.

Walking the path of the ridges on Mount Lafayette was a nice experience. A breath of fresh air.

One of the most beautiful landscape I had the chance to see while hiking.

I would go back anytime!

The mountain’s fresh air is always good even when you have a cloudy day.

Climbing can sometimes be hard or steep but arriving at the top is always rewarded with a great view.

We must enjoy every moment.

When you reach the top, you wish you could enjoy it longer, but you know that there is a long way to go down.

If only we could have this view throughout the climb.

It would be so cool, but then we would lose the will to go to the end... Dilemma !

It was a beautiful day for a hike. We can see far all the mountains around us.

It was very peaceful at the top.
