Amazing spring walk in tropical... Lviv (EN-UA)

Sometimes even a small walk can bring a lot of impressions. Do you have that?
Yesterday the weather was strange in Lviv. 10 degrees heat on a thermometer. It seems to be enough, and the sun shines so brightly. However, there was also a rather cold and damp wind. So he created a feeling of cold...
I had no intention of walking, but I was pulled out by a friend @nadin-zakrevska:)

Іноді навіть маленька прогулянка може принести багато вражень. У вас так буває? Вчора була дивна погода у Львові.
10 градусів тепла на термометрі. Начебто і не мало, та ще й сонце таке яскраве світить. Проте був також досить холодний і сирий вітер. От він і створив відчуття холоду...
Я зовсім не мала наміру гуляти, проте мене витягла подруга.

The charming Stryjsky Park is one of the oldest and largest in Ukraine. Many old and rare trees grow here. Strange: there was a lot of people here. Apparently everyone was attracted by the bright sun. I haven't been here for a long time. I already missed a pair of white swans, which are a real decoration of the park. In winter they are taken to a warm place. And in the warm season they live in such a nice house.

But recently these ones have competitors:) I mean black swans with red beaks. They seriously swim in their half pond and also have their own home. The pond is divided by a net. There are ubiquitous pigeons on the shore, which like to feed on swan feeders. People should not climb behind the fence and feed the birds.

Чарівний Стрийський парк... Один з найдавніших і найбільших в Україні. Тут росте багато старих і рідкісних дерев. Дивина: тут досить багато людей. Мабуть всіх привабило яскраве сонце... Давненько я тут не бувала. Вже скучила за парою білих лебедів, які є справжньою окрасою парку. Взимку їх забирають у тепле місце. А в теплу пору року вони живуть у такому симпатичному будиночку.
Але віднедавна у цих красенів з'явилися конкуренти:) Я маю на увазі чорних лебедів із червоними дзьобами. Вони поважно плавають у своїй половині ставка і також мають власну хатку. Став розділений сіткою (може щоб різні лебеді не бились між собою). На березі походжають всюдисущі голуби, які люблять поживитись із годівниці лебедів. Людям не можна залазити за огорожу і годувати птахів.

We climb the alley up. And here that's the greenhouse. How wonderful that it is open! And we are immersed in the tropical world.

Wow! About 30 degrees of heat and high humidity. There are palm trees, cacti, beautiful flowers around.

I take a selfie, and then I understand that the situation is funny: I'm against the background of tropical plants in a hat and a warm coat :))

Аж ось і оранжерея. Як чудово, що вона відкрита! І ми занурюємось у тропічний світ. Ух... 30 градусів тепла і висока вологість. Навколо пальми, кактуси, красиві квіти.
Роблю селфі, а потім розумію, що ситуація смішна: я на фоні тропічних рослин у шапці і теплому пальто:))

Very soon we had to undress a bit... Here we really liked this bush with abundant red flowers.

Зовсім скоро довелося трохи роздягнутися... Ось цей кущ з червоними рясними квітами нам дуже сподобався.

The greenhouse consists of two small rooms. One of them has a small pond where turtles and red fish live. A special joy for children!

Оранжерея складається із двох маленьких кімнат. В одній із них є маленька водойма, де живе черепаха та червоні рибки. Особлива радість для дітей!

I recognize many flowers, because they grow in our homes as houseplants.
We call this plant Christmas-flower because it is said to bloom at Christmas.

Чимало квітів я впізнаю, адже вони ростуть у наших домах як кімнатні рослини.
Ось цю рослину ми звемо Різдвяник, бо кажуть, що вона цвіте на Різдво.

And here is a banana tree as a friend suggests. The white flower is similar to Zantedeschia (or "Kalla"). It is also a common houseplant.

А ось це бананове дерево як підказує подруга. Біла квітка схожа на калу, це теж поширена кімнатна рослина.

Funny cacti reminded me of the backs of animals standing on their hind legs and looking into the distance.

Смішні кактуси нагадали мені спини звірів, що стоять на задніх лапах і дивляться вдалечінь...

For a long time in this paradise, I still could not stand :) After all, my clothes at the rate of + 6 °. When I went outside, I felt a wild chill because of this contrast. It's good that a friend-thermos filled with hot tea is traveling with me as always. While Maxim was running and playing with the children, Nadin and me had a little snack and talked about life.

Довго у цьому раю я все ж не витримала:) Адже на мені одяг з розрахунку на +6°. Вийшовши на вулицю, я відчула дикий холод через цей контраст. Як добре, що зі мною як завжди подорожує друг-термос, наповнений гарячим чаєм. Поки Максим бігав і грався з дітьми, ми з подругою трохи перекусили і поговорили про життя-буття.

And the sun, which gave a little warmth, disappeared behind the clouds. It's time for us to finish the walk, because it's getting colder.
I dream of returning to this charming greenhouse, as well as exploring other similar places in the city.
And it would be best to see the tropics in the tropics :) But it will be later.

А сонце, яке дарувало трохи тепла, зникло за хмарами. От і нам час завершувати прогулянку, бо стає все холодніше... Я мрію знову повернутися у цю чарівну оранжерею, а також дослідити інші схожі місця в місті.
А найкраще було б побачити тропіки у тропіках:) Але це буде згодом.
