Did you remember back in the 2000s the photoshop effect was a thing?
From sparkle brush to lens flare and to flame effect that people use to edit their school yearbook or facebook photo profile, these additions were a thing. And did you still remember that back in the day some of these effects are paid?
For me, when I wanted to work with flame effects, I had to download the full effect from a sketchy link. Then, we have to install those and add it to our brush. Some are more unique than the others.
So, in the spirit of nostalgia, the other day, I managed to capture these dancing flames. I know this isn’t a thing anymore in 2025 because we have AI but to me, this is another check list out of my box that I can finally be able to make this effect that I wished I could do many moons ago.

Well yours are better than AI @macchiata. It takes human creativity and emotions to create a piece and it is the weakness of AI. After years of wanting to create this effect, I am glad you made it. The flames look majestic and stunning, perfectly captured way better than prompts and AI. This one is better than hearing words like Ballerina Cappucina or Bombardilo Crocodilo which are quite annoying. Lol.

I wasn't playing with those programs back then... I think I downloaded my first Adobe Suite in 2015. It was one of the more complicated cracks to be able to use it right, disabling updates and internet and a lot of other hoops to jump through - but I did it. Mainly the PDF editor is still handy. Yes, I still use the same cracked version, restricted from the Internet since 2015 😅
hahahaha yeah, that's what I did too, jumping through hoop just to get freebies 😅
