Friends, I have prepared this design completely with my own hands, and it is a combination of my art, dedication and time that went into making it. It took me around two to three days to complete it. I would not say that I worked on it day and night. In these 3 days, whenever I got time, I worked on this design with peace and concentration.

The Ganesha image in the middle is a symbol of auspiciousness and creation and the layers around it inspire traditional Indian traditions and this design is a symbol of our folk art. This is not just a decorative item but an expression of my hard work, patience and love for Indian tradition.
Aipan is a wonderful folk art of Uttarakhand, which is specially made on auspicious occasions, festivals and worship rituals. In this art, specific geometric and religious designs are made on a red cloth or surface with white color. Every pattern of Aipan is inspired by the symbols of Gods and Goddesses, religious rituals and nature. It is not just an art but a feeling inherited from generations.Our parents used to tell us that in their times, it was made in homes from red soil (called Gerua). Slowly, it started becoming popular and people started using it in different ways. And they started earning money by selling it.
Friends, I have worked very hard to make this design and I have made this design to decorate my house. After it was completed, I put a frame in it which cost me 400 rupees and friends, I am happy that after making this frame, I found a way to earn money and people started contacting me to make similar frames.And I am moving forward with Aipan art and I am very happy that my hard work has paid off.
