Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
I have already dedicated a few posts to the famous Polish city of Krakow and if you have read some of them (for example this one about local churches), you probably know that Krakow is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe with an abundance of remarkable architectural jewels and historic landmarks dating back to many centuries ago.
Currently home to almost 800,000 people, Krakow was the capital city of Poland from 1038 to 1596 and its Old Town still boasts the primacy of being one of the world´s very first UNESCO World Heritage Sites ever declared.
I will definitely make some more posts illustrating the beauty and historic importance of this amazing city but for today, I prepared something different for you. Very different actually. It might come as a surprise to some but in fact, Krakow is also home to a very vibrant and interesting street art scene.
From what I have observed so far, European cities in general are not as rich in street art as, for example, those in Latin America but many of them still offer a variety of beautiful graffitis and murals.
Without further ado, let me now show you these 10 street art pieces that I saw and captured in Krakow.
I hope you enjoyed this little photo collection dedicated to the street art in Krakow. I took most of the shots in the city´s historic neighborhood of Kazimierz but some were spotted and captured in other parts of the city too.

Thanks man :) Street art always tells something about the place, local people and their culture. Most Latin American cities are basically just huge outdoor galleries of street art.
