Hello my friends!
Carnival has passed and here in Brazil the parades have not taken place. The street blocks did not leave, but people gathered through the city streets and at private parties.
I spent most of the carnival at home, with the exception of Tuesday. On the last day of Carnival I was invited by a band of friends to party Carnival at The Pool Selina, a bar located at Hostel Selina in Praia Mole. The party took place around the pool and who commanded the show was the Quarteto Jazz na Costa, with great sound quality and abusing Samba Jazz.
There were few people in the place, contradicting the movement in the rest of the city and even contradicting the other party days at The Pool.
Even with the party almost empty, I can say that I had fun like I haven't had in a long time. We spent the afternoon there, having a few beers and waiting for the show. I was able to enjoy a show of extreme sound quality and practically private.
The band is composed by Renata Corrêa on vocals, Ricardo Paixão on bass, Sabatian Zinola on keyboards and Ettore Bacci on drums. They are all great musicians and longtime friends, I've even shared photos of other concerts of theirs that I've seen.
After the show, we went to another bar where we met a lot of people and took the opportunity to enjoy and dance Carnival as we should. This part of the day is not in the photos, as I had already put away the equipment to dedicate myself to beer.
Anyway, it was a very special and fun day, as I mentioned above. I hope for more days like this and for the next concert by Quarteto Jazz na Costa, to bring you more beautiful pictures of concerts.

Olá meus amigos!
O Carnaval já passou e aqui no Brasil os desfiles não aconteceram. Os blocos de rua não sairam, mas as pessoas se acumularam pelas ruas da cidade e nos bailes privados.
Eu passei o carnaval quase todo em casa, com excessão da terça feira. No ultimo dia de Carnaval fui convidado, por uma banda musical de amigos, a pular o carnaval no The Pool Selina, bar situado no Hostel Selina na Praia Mole. A festa aconteceu em torno da piscina e quem comandou o show foi o Quarteto Jazz na Costa, com muita qualidade sonora e abusando do Samba Jazz.
No local haviam poucas pessoas, contrariando o movimento no restante da cidade e inclusive contrariando os demais dias de festa no The Pool.
Mesmo com a festa quase vazia, posso dizer que me diverti como a muito tempo não me divertia. Passamos a tarde no local, tomando umas cervejas e aguardando o momento do show. Pude aproveitar um show de extrema qualidade sonora e praticamente privado.
A banda é composta por Renata Corrêa nos vocais, Ricardo Paixão no baixo, Sabatian Zinola nos teclados e Ettore Bacci na bateria. São todos grandes músicos e amigos de longa data, inclusive já compartilhei fotos de outros shows deles que presenciei.
Depois do show rumamos para outro bar onde encontramos bastante gente e aproveitamos para curtir e pular carnaval como se deve. Essa parte do dia não está nas fotos, já que essa hora já havia guardado os equipamentos para me dedicar a cerveja.
De todos modos, foi um dia bastante especial e divertido, como mencionei acima. Torço por mais dias assim e pelo próximo show do Quarteto Jazz na Costa, para trazer mais belas fotos de shows para vocês.

Really great shots! That has to be one of the most interesting silhouettes that i have ever seen. Your friend looks like she has A LOT of character! Hope y'all had fun! hahaha
Hey bro, thanks! I am really glad with your comment. To make this silhouette i stayed waiting for a long time. I saw the light that was positioned beside her and then i positioned my self on the other side of the stage and then i wait untill she pass on the front. As she wasnt passing on the right spot, i made a signal to her saying "one step to the front" and she complied, so i could take this silhouette and in feel happy with the result.
She is really a charater, a true artist on the stage.
I could see the chemistry and her personality in your post. You did a great job capturing her essence. That shot was stunning and your patience paid off big time! Glad to see you my friend. Take care.
