Grasshopper - Macro Photography

Grasshopper0.jpg
Tiny grasshoppers 😊 they are still young and small but they will grow in the next weeks

Grasshopper1.jpg
Photos were taken after the rain and they still got some waterdrops on them

Grasshopper02.jpg
Played with the colors on this one 😁

Grasshopper3.jpg
This one was watching me very closely 😂

Grasshopper4.jpg
they are really hard to spot, I usually walk through grass and check for movement then I follow them slowly until they settle on a plant so I can take some photos

Grasshopper5.jpg
Really hard to get the eyes in focus, it needs a few photos to get the focus right

Grasshopper6.jpg
Some have really long antennae

Grasshopper7.jpg
That is all for today 😊

These look fantastic; I hope the struggle was worth it👍.

Yeah, I enjoy taking photos 😊

Great set, very interesting little creatures. I like the water drops, they really stand out.

Thank you ☺️🦗📸

What is Macro photography?

Macro is when you get really close to the subject and take photos of it, to capture insects, plants, and tiny objects that the naked eye could not notice in detail

I see. I was always thinking it was called micro photography like from microscope or something. I guess that's different. But you need a good camera for that, right?

You need a macro lens, is more important than the camera ☺️

The complexity of this world gets shown to us after looking at each one of those photos...
That much of detail on just a grasshopper is mind-blowing!
Thank you for sharing them with us, @pixaroma! <3
