Greetings to all photography enthusiasts. On this occasion, I want to share a set of photographs of a sunset that caught my attention while I was moving through the city.
It was late in the afternoon, and the sun was just beginning to disappear behind the horizon. I was passing near the park where I usually train when I noticed a significant change in the sky. It didn't take long for me to realize that it was a specific moment that I needed to capture with my phone's camera. The lighting was shifting rapidly, and the overall atmosphere of the place took on a different character as the day started to fade.
The sky had essentially turned into a canvas filled with clouds. There was a heavy presence of grayish tones that provided a solid contrast to the bright orange strokes peeking through the gaps. Unlike sunsets with a clear sky, the cloud cover added a lot of texture and volume to the scene, making the light appear more diffused and dramatic. I decided to take several shots to try and document how the colors were interacting with the cloud formations before the darkness set in completely.
I find these types of sunsets interesting because they are never exactly the same. The way the clouds are positioned dictates how the light is distributed, and in this instance, the result was quite balanced. It was a brief pause in my daily routine, but taking a few minutes to observe and photograph the sky is always worth it. I simply wanted to record those specific hues and the stillness of that moment. I hope the images manage to reflect the colors and the mood of that afternoon.
Without anything more to add, I bid farewell. Stay tuned for future posts. Until next time.
