This year, I had the privilege of immersing myself in the heart of the festivities at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, where the essence of Pohela Boishakh unfolded in a breathtaking display of artistry and cultural vibrancy.

Students from different disciplines came together, united by their love for art and culture, to create something truly extraordinary. It was a testament to the power of creativity to transcend boundaries and forge connections.

Stepping onto the campus, I was greeted by a kaleidoscope of colors and a palpable sense of energy. Students and faculty members alike poured their hearts and souls into their creations, meticulously crafting each stroke to capture the essence of Bangla culture and heritage.

The atmosphere was electric as visitors from all walks of life marveled at the spectacle. Families strolled hand in hand, children gazed wide-eyed at the larger-than-life murals, and art enthusiasts reveled in the beauty of it all. It was a celebration of identity, community, and the timeless allure of art.

You can find my previous post about our Bangla New Year celebration in This Post where I have shared more photos of the event and the institute area. I hope you will enjoy it.

As the day drew to a close and the sun dipped below the horizon, I left the Institute of Fine Arts with a heart full of gratitude and inspiration. The experience had been nothing short of magical, a testament to the enduring spirit of Pohela Boishakh and the boundless creativity of the human spirit.

I like how bright and colorful they all are. The level of detail is also very nice. The way they put the animals in different scenarios was also fun. They were all very interesting.

All the animals are part of different local folk tales, we can guess the stories by seeing them. That was the fun part.

I see. That makes them more interesting then.

All these paintings are very beautiful and it took a lot of time to make them and whoever made them and put a lot of effort into them, we all should appreciate this kind of thing.

They were a representation of hard work. Loved the wallarts.
