I had a chance to go on a small expedition with Ruffles, an adventure woman from a Steampunk universe. She told me a story about a strange energy that is called Ether (not the Crypto 😉) that has seeped into out world. Studying old records she brought with her we sought out old ruins that were rumored to be haunted.
Vor einer Weile hatte ich die Chance eine Expedition mit Ruffles zu unternehmen, eine Abenteuerin aus einem Steampunk Universum. Sie erzählte mir eine Geschichte von einer Energieform namens Ether (nicht die Crypto Währung) die in unsere Welt eingesickert ist. Nach dem Studium einiger Aufzeichnungen sind wir zu einer alten Ruine gefahren in denen es angeblich spuken soll.
We found traces of this strange energy very quickly and Ruffles analyzed them with her devices. It seems the old stones here were soaking up the energy for quite some time now.
Wir haben schnell einige Spuren dieser Energie gefunden und Ruffles machte sich daran diese mit ihren mitgebrachten Messgeräten zu untersuchen. Es schien das die alten Steine hier die Energie schon eine ganze Weile lang aufgesaugt haben.
It turned out some of these stones were burial mounds and restless spirits empowered by the Ether mimicked everyone who approached them to protect this spot.
Es stellte sich heraus das einige dieser Steine Grabsteine waren und unruhiger Geister gestärkt durch das Ether jeden Besucher nachahmten um diese Ruinen zu beschützen.
Soon we found ourselves surrounded by spirits. They were peaceful but made clear that we were not welcome at this place.
Schon bald waren wir umgeben von Geistern. Sie waren zwar friedlich aber machten uns klar das wir an diesem Ort nicht willkommen sind.
But Ruffles brought some of her own magic with her and she was able to cleans the ruins and banish the spirits. With the strange energy gone from this place the spirits were able to rest again and the ruins were safe for visitors from now on.
Aber Ruffles hat ihre eigene Magie mitgebracht und nutzte diese um die Ruinen zu reinigen und die Geister zu verbannen. Nachdem die Energie Spuren beseitigt waren hatten die Geister wieder ihre Ruhe und die Ruinen sind von nun an wieder sicher für Besucher.
