And the thing you mention about many things like halloween and such coming to us from USA, that is True and halloween is now a big thing here and I think thanksgiving is a thing that might come here as well 🦃 and I can't wait.

It is the best to come and see on your eyes...
And swimming in the lake is actually possible. Many people are swimming inside during summer time, especially from the northern part of Europe where they are usually used to lower temperatures. I don't know how is it with you, but you could try.
About the USA feast, who wouldn't like to have another opportunity for that, right?
