Hello guys,
Today is a special day for part of our hivean friends, so I wanted to congratulate happy Thanksgiving Day to all US folks here on Hive and to all the people who actually celebrate this holiday.
In Europe, we didn’t take this holiday for ours (yet). But things are changing with some other holidays like Halloween and others, we never know how Thanksgiving tradition will develop in my country :)
My wish is to be once in US in this holiday period and to visit some family who celebrates Thanksgiving and be a part of this holiday. I know there is a lot of good food on the table this day, so I wouldn’t mind that for a whole experience. As an NFL fan, I also know something about the tradition of football on that day. Lions – Bears is one of the classics, but this year I am more looking forward to Raiders – Cowboys which could be a fun one.
I will honour that day with fried chicken for my lunch as well :) I know it should be a roasted turkey, but let me come close this year and maybe next year I will try to prepare proper lunch with turkey at home for that day.
That was a short Thanksgiving intro as it is that time of the year, but my today’s gallery has nothing to do with it.
I will share some photos from Kranjska Gora and its vicinity. I know I have shared a lot from there, but as it is one of my favourite places and since I haven’t shared anything from there for quite some time now, I believe you will be happy to see these photos. I mean natural beauty is always welcome, right?
Like I already said, happy Thanksgiving and let’s Hive price continue to raise, so we will be able to spend a lot on Black Friday :)

In my country Argentina we do not celebrate Thanksgiving, here we celebrate Good Night, and it is done the night before Christmas arrives; It is common to attend church and celebrate the mass of the gallo, it is a traditional mass that is done to commemorate the arrival of the child Jesus

Unfortunately, my poor Cowboys lost in OT. But it was a really good game... especially the fourth quarter. The food was incredible. Awesome shots as always bro! Thanks for honoring the spirit of Thanksgiving!

Yes, I am from Dallas. Our Slovenian Slaughterer is a nice replacement for Dirk. I just read that the Raiders vs. Cowboys game was the most watched Thanksgiving game in 30 years! It was a great game except for all the costly penalties. You won't be disappointed to roast a turkey any time of the year! hahaha
There is a cool way to cook a turkey. Thaw it out, preheat the oven, set it to the highest temperature and cook the turkey the night before. Stick it in at the highest temp for one hour, then turn off the oven and go to bed. Don't open the oven as it will continue cooking from the built up residule heat. It's so incredible i didn't even think it was legit. Look it up online because i don't know if it works for the Euro C degrees ovens. hahaha

It is the best to come and see on your eyes...
And swimming in the lake is actually possible. Many people are swimming inside during summer time, especially from the northern part of Europe where they are usually used to lower temperatures. I don't know how is it with you, but you could try.
About the USA feast, who wouldn't like to have another opportunity for that, right?

Juicy photos! There are many shades of green and gorgeous landscapes. Slovenia is a country of contrasts. An amazing place, it is especially pleasant to look at these photos when everything is gray outside the window (between spring and winter) thanks.
True! It is nice to tame a look at these photos when weather outside is B&W.
Slovenia is awesome country and you can really find a lot of gorgeous landscapes. If you like green colour, you can't be dissapointed here...
I have never been to Slovenia, but I dream of visiting it as soon as the covid restrictions are lifted. But so far the situation is not the best. I am confident in the future, everything will be fine! Thanks.
