Welcome to the next station of the Prague Metro called Pražského povstání (the Prague Uprising). The station is located on line C at the border of Nusle, Podolí and Pankrác districts.

The station lies at a depth of 8 meters below the earth's surface and was constructed by excavating. Construction lasted from 1969 to 1974. In the station, there are only two columns supporting the station's ceiling structure, which are near the exit staircase. Materials such as Koelga marble and Zbuzany marble were used on the walls. The platform is covered with Sedlčany granite and Požáry granite. The company Interprojekt with architect Vladimír Uhlíř is behind the project.
Stanice leží v hloubce 8 metrů pod povrchem země a byla zhotovena formou hloubení. Výstavba trvala od roku 1969 do roku 1974. Ve stanici jsou pouze dva sloupy nesoucí stropní konstrukci stanice, které jsou poblíž výstupního schodiště. Na zdech byly použity materiály jako Mramor Koelga a Zbuzanský mramor. Nástupiště je pokryto Sedlčanskou žulou a Požárskou žulou. Za projektem stojí firma Interprojekt s architektem Vladimírem Uhlířem.
The station lobby also looks like it lies underground, but this is a delusion, as the entire lobby is part of the Brutalist building that the station is a part of. Previously, the building above the station served as the headquarters of Centrotex, which was a state-owned company dealing with foreign trade during the socialist era.
Vestibul stanice vypadá také, že leží pod zemí, ale jde o klam, protože celý vestibul je součástí brutalistní budovy, které je stanice součástí. Dříve budova nad stanicí sloužila jako sídlo Centrotexu, což byla státní firma zabývající se zahraničním obchodem v době socialismu.
The area around the station is a combination of pre-war architecture and modern office buildings and, of course, Centrotex. At one of the exits there is also a sculpture called Barikáda (Barricade) by the sculptor Stanislav Hanzík, which is supposed to be a memory of May 1945, when the armed uprising against Nazi Germany began in Prague.
Okolí stanice je kombinací předválečné architektury a moderních kancelářských budov a samozřejmě Centrotexu. U jednoho v výstupů je i plastika s názvem Barikáda od sochaře Stanislava Hanzíka, která má být vzpomínkou květen roku 1945, kdy v Praze začalo ozbrojené povstání proti nacistickému Německu.
