Greetings to all my dear #hive. I hope you are having a very good and happy week. Today is a special day, today I'm going to share a memory. This time I bring you a very special memory: the day my beloved kitties arrived home.
Saludos a todos mis queridos #hive. Espero que estén teniendo una semana muy buena y feliz. Hoy es un día especial, en el dia de hoy voy compartir un recuerdo . Esta vez les traigo un recuerdo muy especial: el día que llegaron mis gatitas amadas a la casa.

When I was little, my dream was to have many cats to accompany me on my adventures. However, in my house it was not possible because, besides the fact that it is located in a very busy street, my dad does not like to have cats inside the house. So, to make me happy, my grandmother decided to adopt two very small and adorable cats that my uncle (her son) had for adoption. Such a thing made me feel fulfilled in life. I waited for the long-awaited day for weeks: we had to wait for the kittens to be separated from their mother before we could bring them in. We bought them a bed, collars and their food dishes. Every moment passed with great anxiety. I just wanted to hold the kittens in my arms.
Cuando estaba pequeña, mi sueño era tener muchos gatos que me acompañaran en mis aventuras. Sin embargo, en mi casa no era posible porque, además de que está ubicada en una calle muy transitada, a mi papá no me gusta tener gatos adentro de la casa. Entonces, para hacerme feliz, mi abuela decidió adoptar dos gatas muy pequeñas y adorables que mi tío (su hijo) tenía en adopción. Tal cosa me hizo sentirme como realizada en la vida. Esperé el tan ansiado día durante semanas: había que esperar que las gatitas se desligaran de su mamá para poder traerlas. Les compramos una camita, collares y sus platos para comer. Cada momento pasaba con mucha ansiedad. Yo solamente quería tener a las gatitas en mis brazos.
As fate would have it, Pinta was named after one of my stuffed animals and Skyler after one of my drawings, a name given to her by my brother. We had everything ready for their arrival.
Como cosa del destino, Pinta se llamó así por uno de mis peluches y Skyler por uno de mis dibujos, nombre colocado por mi hermano. Ya teníamos todo listo para su llegada.

At that time, I must have been about nine years old. My aunt and uncle brought the kittens in a cat box; they were about two months old and tiny, but very spoiled. Pinta (the little white one with black and white spots) was very shy, and sought to hide as soon as she came out of her box. On the other hand, Skyler (the yellow one) was very outgoing and immediately emerged to get everyone's attention.
En aquel entonces, yo debía tener alrededor de nueve años. Mis tíos trajeron a las gatitas en una caja para gatos; tenían alrededor de dos meses y eran diminutas, pero muy consentidas. Pinta (la blanquita con manchas negras y blancas) era muy tímida, y buscó esconderse desde que salió de su caja. Por otro lado, Skyler (la amarilla) era muy extrovertida e inmediatamente surgió para llamar la atención de todos.

To get them to chase us, we lured them with food; however, on the first day, only Skyler perked up and befriended us at once. We played with her to chase various objects and she immediately liked us very much. Since then (secretly), Skyler has been everyone's favourite.
Para que nos persiguieran, las atrajimos con comida; sin embargo, en el primer día, solamente Skyler se animó y se hizo nuestra amiga de una vez. Jugamos con ella a que persiguiera diversos objetos e inmediatamente le caímos muy bien. Desde entonces (en secreto), Skyler es la favorita de todos.

But, secretly too, Pinta was my favourite; I identified a little with her shyness. I petted her and, little by little, made her lose her fear. I remember that day she gave me a little scratch (nothing serious) when she clung to me for the first time.
Pero, en secreto también, Pinta fue mi favorita; me identifiqué un poco con su timidez. La acaricié y, poco a poco, hice que perdiera el miedo. Recuerdo que ese día me hizo un pequeño arañazo (nada grave) al aferrarse a mí por primera vez.

Both of them soon got tired of playing and running around their room, so they lay down on the little bed we had bought them to rest. There, I took this beautiful picture of them that will go down in history.
Ambas se cansaron pronto de jugar y corretear por su cuarto, por lo que se acostaron en la camita que les habíamos comprado a descansar. Ahí, les tomé esta hermosa foto que quedó para la historia.

After the cats got tired, we had to leave to let them sleep peacefully. After this day, a period of spending endless time at my grandmother's house to play with my kitties began. It was beautiful; I remember it today as one of the best times of my life.
Luego de que las gatas se cansaran, tuvimos que irnos para dejarlas dormir tranquilamente. Después de este día, empezó una etapa de estar infinitamente en la casa de mi abuela para jugar con mis gatitas. Fue hermoso; actualmente lo recuerdo como una de las mejores épocas de mi vida.
Pinta and Skyler are now full-grown and very active kittens.
Pinta y Skyler en la actualidad ya son unas gatitas formadas, y muy activas.
