I used to think that these cormorants in the photo also belong to some common species, I saw them quite often. But as it turned out, they are on the verge of extinction. I hope yours are not.

I'm so sorry to hear your cormorants are on the verge of extinction. We have lots of them, and they can be found all over the coast of Scotland. I even saw one fishing on an inland lake 3 or 4 weeks ago (although it was still very close to the sea). They are lovely birds !
