From “Playa del Carmen” to Valladolid…

Today we have left "Playa del Carmen" to enter the interior of Yucatan.
Specifically, we have visited three fantastic Cenotes in "Cobá" and then its archaeological complex of pyramids and Mayan constructions that has left us impressed.
About the cenotes, the three were underground, that is, caves with interior lakes of fresh and very deep water, in which you can take a dip by jumping from various heights.
The truth is that we liked them more than yesterday's cenotes located closer to the coast and the best of all, less crowded.

Then we have eaten a good menu for very little money.
It must be said that as soon as you move away from the coast, the prices are cheaper and more normal.

The Mayan ruins of Cobá are located in the middle of the lush jungle.
Perhaps they are not as well preserved as those of Txichen-Itza but they are equally spectacular.

To finish, we have arrived at our hotel in Valladolid. We haven't seen the colonial city yet but I think it will be a good experience too.

Tomorrow more!
