What do you usually do at the beginning of the week?
There are only more than 10 days left until Christmas, this year due to the impact of the COVID epidemic, many activities are restricted. But I still feel that the Christmas atmosphere is coming very close, especially since the streets have been decorated by people and sold souvenirs. Many hotels, shopping centers, and coffee shops have also decorated giant Christmas trees. In addition to creating many beautiful models and miniatures, there are also many discounts and incentives at the end of the year.
I and my friend to find simple decorations for my Christmas tree. We went to a bonsai shop because my room was quite small, so I bought a cedar tree, with a very small appearance. The scientific name is Cupressus macrocarpa, the tree is native to tropical South America. The tree is neatly trimmed to have a natural pyramid shape, the leaves of the tree are coniferous with many branches, the tree is banana green, with a gentle fragrance from the leaves, bringing a sense of comfort, refreshment and reduce stress. I bought the tree for 80,000 VND, equivalent to about 3 dollars. After buying the tree, we went to the decoration store, because the tree is quite small, so we only buy light decorations for the tree.
After buying, we brought it home and started decorating our own Christmas tree. First I made my own bows for the tree because the tree couldn't bear the weight, so I couldn't put a star on the top of the tree after I prepared the decorations. I started using paper rolls to roll up the potted plants, they will look very close and beautiful. Then I decorate small gift packages with a deer on the branch, the pinecones will be the last thing I put on the tree. After finishing the decoration, I found a thread of tiny led lights, tinsel wires, flashing lights all very cheap but the effect is very high. Looking at the pine tree will be warmer and more sparkling.
During Christmas days, we will often express our wish for a peaceful life for ourselves and all our loved ones in the family, so the cards will help us convey meaningful messages to our loved ones beside us. My wish on this year's Christmas day is to be able to do the unfinished business of the past year and the health of my family members is safe. Especially in the period of the end of the year epidemic is really very complicated.
This Christmas, I will want to have a little warmth of love again, will want to hold hands again, wander in the middle of the winter cold, will want to crawl into a place that is both safe and warm...and I want to hear the church bells ring at midnight.
