“This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play” – Alan Watts
I'm really humble and trully grateful to be a part of such an amazing team, working a diverse job that combines my passion for cars, my passion for driving, being active, able to learn new things, improve and on top of all have a true leader that helps me evolve, improve, learn and think smarter, not harder, while providing me books to read.
Today I'm sharing with you the second half of almost 3 hour walk, randomly through the magical oldest part of the city that is full of romance, old architecture, lions and actually the tourist paths I later found. Took me a while to find ther Grand cannal that included bigger bridges, bigger buildings and I'm not sure what Marco Polo stands for.
After over an hour and half I stopped by for a cup of coffee and sit down for a minute, when I got to the end part, where I could see the open sea, boat's driving through and enjoying the nice view's as the sun came out for a little bit.
For intro I would like to invite you to the first part on taking you on a nice walk through Venice with me! That's if you missed it (click here)
Now, let's continue walking shall we? We had around an hour and half of time before I started runing out of time, it got darker and had to be on airport on time.
At this point I started heading back to the car, on my way back I bought 3 magnets to take em with me to give away and headed somewhere close to the airport, around 6minute drive away I found a nice free parking spot and a very lovely walking trail, but started getting darker. Over all I had a great fun day, on our way back home we were hit with heavy rain, followed with heavy snow storm and was suprised when I got home around midnight with over 30cm of fresh snow!
I really did enjoy, memories of another special day and another reminder to be grateful for being a part of such amazing team, company with great leaders.
How glad I am to see so many people visiting Ventia, if you look at my blog you will see a few blogs about Venice and I have a few more to post.
Cheers!
I am so close to Venice, but never been there. Probably now is a great time to go...
As a nature lover, hiker and explorer, I like it when there isn't too much trafic, that the place isn't packed with people and normaly, sadly less people normaly means less trash and harm to our mother nature, in that view it is good time to go, yes. No problems on the border, just prepared
