Here is my weekly status and giveaway. The new easter seasonal mission is ongoing and there is even the 2nd anniversary cake mission out there. So there is a lot of stuff going on in Rising Star. My saved-up starbits did net me the seasonal mission card and I spent some extra starbits for the cake.

I decided to give out a booster card for a change because I got some extra cake and I don't need as many pizza slices anymore.
The giveaway item is EnergyBoost1 or as I would call it, the pizza slice. This card is great for anyone who still needs more energy for missions as it gives you a full bar of energy every 24 hours.

Current Status
My earnings this week were about the same as last week at about 170k starbits. I used up 600k for the seasonal card packs and 90k for three birthday cakes. I don't think I played much more than usual as I was still quite busy at work.
Opening up 72 packs net me 4 of the seasonal cards. I didn't get any epic or legendary cards this time around.
I didn't do as many easter missions as I would like but I did get one copy of the radio. I haven't gotten the other card yet though.

Current Ranking
My rank got pushed up but I think it's due to all the extra cards I got. My timing is about the same as last week so that is the only difference that I can see.

Tips (source)
I think the tips are something every new player should know about. It will help people progress in the game and it hasn't really been shared since surya1adiga stopped his giveaways.
- Take music lessons when possible to raise skill and reduce ego.
- Having lesson specific instruments helps in receiving more skill from that lesson.
- Have pizza box to store any pizza received during mission to reuse later.
- Buy cold pizza slice if possible. This gives 1 refill every 24hours. Comes very handy when you are low on energy.
- If you have enough of cold pizza slice and pizza box, you will never run out of energy.
- If you have more fans than skill and you want reduce the ego , you can use a storage trailer to store unnecessary cards. Or you can list the card in market for an unreasonably high price.
- Ego received for a particular mission increases every time you play it. The ego is reset to base level the next day. So, try to play different missions to control the ego gained.
Keep track of your achievements to unlock in game rewards- Buy storage trailer (only if necessary) to keep the cards that might have a negative effect. Like a card with high fan count resulting in ego.
- When earning skill points through music lessons, you can earn more points per lesson if you hold more of specific instrument cards. There seems to be base skill which is rewarded irrespective of the card count and then the skill increases depending on the number of the lesson specific card one has.
- Try taking up many smaller missions to fill up pizza boxes and have extra energy to play more rewarding missions. But you need to have pizza boxes for this to work.

I currently have 123k fans if there are zero drunk fans. The starbit millionaire makes up for 70k per week and I think I should be able to reach 220k-240k per week if I timed my missions correctly (when season mission isn't up).
That's pretty awesome fan level!
I'm well and truly a long way behind that ;)
Although, I've now run the Starbits Millionaire mission twice. If I continue to invest, pretty sure this will help with some solid gains. ;)
