Garlic Ganja Garbanzo (aka 3 Gs) Dip

Roasting garlic fills the house with such a lovely, warming aroma... side benefit for some... it also masks the scent of ganja consumption 😉. Personally I love the smell, whether burned, baked or fresh, so I can't bear to mask it with another, however, there are smokers that may feel the need to. Let's say for instance, your neighbors have that narc vibe written all over them. You may find it easier to cover up, instead of dealing with some nosy farm animals later on down the road. Try roasting some garlic before you take a wake and bake, see if anyone complains besides Vlad the Impaler's undead nostrils.

Roasted garlic also absorbs cannabis-infused oil like a sponge, making it a versatile complement to a range of meals. Serve with warmed pita bread, crudités, and olives, or use it to make a sandwich with roasted vegetables, arugula, and a sharp cheese. Plus, because it freezes well, you can always make extra and store it for later.

Swervings: 5 (On the Low Low)

1 large head garlic
Salt
5 teaspoons THC extra-virgin olive oil (see recipe linked here)
One 19-ounce can garbanzo beans
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Dash hot red pepper flakes

1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Remove the top 12 inches of the garlic head. 1 teaspoon THC olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a drizzle of THC olive oil Wrap the garlic cloves in aluminum foil and bake for one hour. Remove the cloves from the papery skins and set them aside to cool.

3. Rinse the beans with water after draining them in a strainer. Drain thoroughly.

4. Put the beans in a food processor with the roasted garlic along with the remaining 4 tablespoons THC olive oil, lemon juice, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. To make a smooth dip, pulse until smooth, adding as much vegetable broth as needed, 1 teaspoon at a time.

Toasted bread, baked pita wedges, celery sticks, and/or red bell pepper slices are all good accompaniments.

Garlic lovers will find this quite addicting. Fair warning though: Enjoy this vampire killer in moderation, it also kills your breath pretty terribly.
