I do not know what it is, but all of a sudden building managers and customers have decided that NOW is a good time to spend money with us!
As though the end-of year services and the half-a-work-month December is not bad enough, we now have around 5 concurrent jobs that we are doing, ranging from R100k to R1mil+.
I guess that one can never really complain about getting business and making money but very often when you do big jobs this time of the year, it does not get paid out until next year anyway and that's the rub.
We need to finish as many of these jobs as we can, early enough so we can invoice them early and get paid for them!
This is part of the reason why I have not been posting much on Hive. I have managed to post regularly on Youtube, but that is different. It's just shorts that I recorded. I have a whole library of them.
Another reason why I have been off the Hive and taking up my time has been school exams. The kids needed support... and discipline... I cannot tall you how many instances I have had of kids trying to take chances!
I end up having to fight with them and I realized how ludicrous this was. I sat them down and explained and led them all three through the idea and concept that I am doing what I am doing FOR them and leading them FOR their own good.
So why fight with me if what I am doing is to help them?
So yeah, that is my story for the week.
Right. I have a Busy Bees report to do. That also takes out a chunk of my Sunday so I better get to it.
