Word's 1st fiat-crypto atomic swap

in DTube3 years ago

Greetings,

NIMIQ OASIS is a game changer! You can buy crypto with no KYC if you have a bank account that supports SEPA Instant. I use Revolut so in this video I show you how easy it is to buy $NIM via the OASIS.

OASIS stands for "Open Asset Swap Interaction Scheme". It bridges the fiat-crypto divide in an elegant way. It works in different countries and currencies, but here in the UK the only option I have is a bank account with SEPA Instant, which Revolut has, luckily.

It would be awesome to see some kind of collaboration with Hive, perhaps Hive Engine. Gone are the days of the 5 working days wait.

Peace & Love,

Adé

How can it be non-KYC when your your bank account is always KYC'd? You can claim, of course, that the other party is someone else. But isn't that always the case when buying crypto and sending that crypto away from your exchange?

Fair enough. The idea is that NIMIQ itself doesn't care where the money is coming from or who you are or where you're located. As long as you can transfer money to the account provided, you're good. Other times you'd have to send the 'exchange' your details and even verify them via email/phone first before you can even do something like this.

That's good. But there are many other non-KYC exchanges out there. I'd only use such exchanges for small amounts of cash at a time.

Also, from your bank's point of view, you're paying someone for something.. they don't know you're buying crypto.

Seems seamless. I don't think this will be feasible here in Nigerian with the crypto restrictions.

It won't work with Nigeria sadly. The only way would be to find a trusted person outside and use a remittance company like Worldremit..

That's stressful man! P2p transactions will cut it for now.

I have thousands of NIM, and I have hopes it will skyrocket.

As do I. I think it's inevitable.

Coool, I see RM :D

that looks really polished. nice.

It's pretty nice.

yeah i've always liked those german "startup" banks, seems they took it to the next level, ease of use is the way to go, if the interface is pretty too then that helps massively.
