Living out in the country side sounds very romantic, but there are more than a few things that people new to it need to learn. One of the biggest issues is predators.
It is an unfortunate side effect of living with nature. When you move into a new place and introduce something foreign like chickens and goats, you are adding to the local food chain.
It is everyday. One day you can have a big beautiful flock of chickens, the next they are dead. In the case of my buddy, these predators would kill his cows!!
