Tonight I'm playing @splinterlands again while I talk about the ups and downs I have had in my life lately. The world is a beautiful place with lots of happiness and love in the world but, there are these holes everywhere in the world that end up under our feet without warning and sometimes we find ourselves falling in these holes. I know that it is possible to avoid them at times but eventually, we all fall into a hole and have to fight to climb our way back out just to end up where we started once again!!!

I think you have the right idea, play if you like it, first and foremost. If it becomes something more like SuperMarioKart (you can tell how much of a gamer I am 😏) and you feel like it's no longer worth your time... you at least have a way to get some of your input back... couldn't really do that with SuperMarioKart. ;)
I've said this before, I feel quite lucky to be a part of something new and realize that in order for it not to just die (like so many things do), everything needs reevaluated constantly to be sure to maintain all variables. I remember so many rewards before... but am thankful I got in at that time, not angry that things change. 🥰
The goal has always been Splinterlands longevity for EVERYONE... not just a top few for a few years. We (the community) finds holes in the current workings and then the team does their best to fix the holes without compromising our decentralized integrity. It's a special dance. Thanks for being a part of it. 🥰
And life. Yes. We've all got it. I'm pretty private until I know ya, but my life has also been full of ups and downs.
Hang in there! And if you feel like you should leave the Splinterlands because of financial reasons, I'm so glad it was created to give you that option.
