Those magnets, boy you're right about the pinch. There are a whole bunch of shipping precautions the last time I looked into them. I haven't seen one in a pure ball form before, they're usually disc shaped from what I see.
I never thought about stripping the electrical cords. You found the perfect way to get strip them.
