Problem We are Facing as Nigerians

Nigeria is the most popular country in Africa and the world sixth most popular country. the large population has resulted in new problems like traffic congesting in major city, kidnapping citizens and murdered Christians across the country, unemployment adolescent which result to numerous internet fraud, political involving themselves in corruptions, diseases like HIV/AIDS have also been a major problem.

1.Fuel Scarcity.

the scarcity of fuel in Nigeria affects the living standard of people in many ways such as, social unrest, increase in cost of transportations, the cost of feeding and so on.

We are not receiving what we are entitled to. I believe the government remained silent because they have it so easy; you wouldn't see them standing in line like this. Many drivers have turned on much more expensive black market sources for their fuel requirements, running the danger of having their engines harmed by contaminated items.

2.No Electricity

Due to the high cost of production in Nigeria due to the absence of energy, the majority of our investors choose to invest elsewhere. Nigeria has a lot of dams, but only three main ones, and the rest are minor ones, therefore the country cannot supply enough electricity for a whole 48 hours.

Due to the problems, many independent contractors stopped working. There is no electricity supply. Think of a person who needs power to function going through a blackout.

3.Redesigning the currency and limiting withdrawals in Nigeria: dubious strategy and unfortunate timing.

Nigerians are currently dealing with a cash shortage problem after bank ATMS and POS around major cities in the country couldn't dispense funds to the publics.

The employment market has grown globalized, and BusinessDay investigations reveal that major consulting businesses, financial organizations, healthcare providers, and educational institutions in Nigeria are losing highly skilled Nigerians to developed nations.

Most of the well-skilled doctors in Nigeria travels to other countries for a greener pastures because they were not paid regularly in thier mother country.

5.Unemployment

The main causes of unemployment in Nigeria are overcrowding, inflation, a decline in economic value, neglect of agricultural and other natural resources, low education, a lack of work skills, and corruption.

I feel sorry for myself because I recently received a second class upper in mathematics from college, and there is no guarantee that I will find employment right away.

Although Nigeria is genuinely dealing with several issues, I was only able to write on a few of them.
I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog; feel free to comment below with any of the issues you have encountered and their solutions.

Sadly at the core of most of that stuff there is corruption at most levels of the government and corporations. The best way we can get rid of this corruption is to focus on local leaders and politicians. Make sure that we have good local ones and the more communities that have good local leaders, the more the movement to elect good people spreads and you can root out corruption that way. It’s a long process but it’s the best shot we have.
