I've been eyeing on this group for quite awhile now because I have so many things to rant about.
Long time ago about 12 years ago restaurant work was 8 hours and any extra hours they will gladly pay for your over time without question because they appreciate your time and they encourage you to work overtime and their promises are kept the payment will always be there if you want extra.
Most people just left the shop after 8 to 9 hours they just want that one hour over time pay because it doesn't hurt to have extra money 💰. But!!! These days are different managers are getting delusional in the head where they want you to do overtime without fu*kin pay for the extra hours they even have the balls to reject the extra hours that you're doing just so they can CUT COST! really? Wow didn't know humans are just numbers that we can cut cost don't worry about it workers don't have wife's workers don't have family to take care of why don't you stay in the restaurant better yet just sleep here so we don't need to call you just in case you're late one minute. Just in case.....
It's like telling your workers "yo bro thanks for the donation of 30 hours overtime man you're an angel you won't get paid though because you just a slave to the company we decide to pay you or not, also don't complain ya bro because you need to be thankful of having a shi#ty job not everyone have this wonderful job you're doing be grateful ok good boy good girl"
Then proceed telling you everyday without fail saying you're useless we need to throw you out the company don't need someone who does little eventhough you do as much as you can. Sitting down is a sin too when you ask permission boss I need to sit down for awhile ya been standing whole day feet is hurting you get a reply don't worry the reply is like this usually "ah again?" (Eventhough it's the first time you ask today to sit just to rest your tired feet)
Then they said "this is why I can't take day off because lazy people like You" wow didn't know sitting to rest your feet for 2 minutes makes him not to take his day off 📴 the workers with low pay has so much power over the managers until they can't take day off sorry for the leg pain will suffer more so you can take your precious day off eventhough your own day off are being cancelled on a regular basis.
Such a wonderful place to work you need to be loyal to the company because they give you salary size smaller than your nuts you need to be loyal you need to be grateful you have a job what about people who don't have a job? Lucky them they can sit at home without a job that pays puny like a paracetamol tablet 😂
Hey wanna claim your public holiday? Nahhhhh Reject your azz why public holiday who gave you the right to give public holiday what? The government give you public holiday really? Must be a mistake lol 🤣 that guy can claim his public holiday let's all be jealous and tell that guy he have a nice life lucky you bro you can claim I just collect my public holiday like a Pokémon card ♦️ weeeee
What you resigning? How dare you resign and get a better offer outside we give you job first 🥇 the one who give you job first is your god why resign who gave you the permission to resign and get a better salary nooo you need to be loyal to us and suffer more you haven't suffered yet. It's ok because you resign and give one month notice we will make sure your last month is like hell on earth we promise muahahahahhah (evil laugh) let's make fun of the guy who resign yo you weak azz bit@h can't stand the stress huh? Ooooo weaklings pui. How did you get. Better offer anyway? You can't even serve customers and make them happy your new employer must be crazy to hire you hahaha.
Huh this one complaining because work environment is toxic? Really? This is life life is supposed to be toxic there is no flowers and bees 🐝 here no there is only hellfire, pain and suffering that's the real healthy work environment the best one yet if you can survive here in this toxic hellfire you can survive anywhere yeahhhh this is what we call competition at work lol 😆🤣🤣
What you complain salary is late? Huh need to pay rent on the first month? Tell your landlord we will pay salary on the 15th because why? Because we can pay you whenever we want you won't complain anyway if you complain it's easy the door is always open for you to leave let me help open the door and kick yo azz out smack! Lol 🤣 bye bye.
You can handle five tables at one time? Really? The job is so easy while I watch you work you only need to 1.set up the table 2. Give the guest menu 3. Take their order and explain the ridiculous amount of stupid questions by the guest 4. Oh yeah don't forget to explain to the guest the price is high due to expensive ingredients we use oh oh also justify the price with the ingredients we use oh oh also don't forget to mention the waiting time 5. Oh oh wait also force the customer to order the expensive one on the menu 6. Also don't forget to key in the order in the system 7. Then after you key in order don't forget to pick up the food and drinks and send to the tables 8. After you don't that take another order from another table easy job easy peasy Japanesy baby. 9. Don't forget to clear the tables wipe set up then give the bills to the guest 10. Make sure you put in the right number in the system if not you have to pay with your tiny salary to cover the lost for this gigantic company company need to save cost ok boys and girls the company is your god you're just modern Day Slaves but we don't use that word anymore you're family awwwww so sweet ...
See I told you you can handle five table alone now you're exhausted and feel like dying it's ok that's work while the managers looking at you exausted we gonna make fun of you relax and chill after work can Netflix and chill.
See guys it's not THAT bad working in the restaurant these days it's the best job Eva! So send your resumes let's work in the most toxic environment of all times and grow weeeeeee happiness overload baby.

Hahaha, the end was sarcastic 😅, working for people has never been fun, it's like being in bondage. I feel being self-employed is just the best to gain freedom but not everyone can afford that.

Unfortunately, the competition of employers does a lot.
Where there are many job offers few people and vice versa many people few jobs it is different.
I see the change in the employer.

Yup just need to keep searching till we find the right one. But the right company usually has full staff, happy n not leaving.
Those are brutal working conditions for sure but they are also a good thing to have experienced. When you work for shitty people and eventually find a good one, you will appreciate it so much more having known what it’s like to work for a scumbag like that. Also, if you ascend to the manager role, you have a good basis of what not to act like and likely will treat your employees better.
Hope you can get out of that shitty situation soon into something better!
It's a cycle really hehe sometimes u get good people but most of the time you get this shitty people inside a company. I just thought that after covid people will be better but it's the reverse ◀️ on what's happening to people in general.
Sadly Greed can't be cured I guess.
