Guess I am a 'tard then as I still use pen and paper over the keyboard for words and sums. I find I can retain knowledge easier and deeper that way, always have done probably always will do. When I did my degree in the distant past I always wrote stuff down and built around it. Same in the recent past, during investigations, I always took hand written statements, and made notes on paper rather than Ipadding the fucking stuff, like my peers did.

Exactly! It helps me a lot too and not to mention it keeps your brain active. Kids these days can't read, can't count and some can't even read the time on a traditional clock. All this digitization leads to ... losing a lot of skills as well.
