It was still November and literally inside every building there were Christmas songs already. All was set up for a jolly loving time and the atmosphere of that everyone has peace and love just can't be ignored anymore. Christmas is smeared out in your face whether you like it or not.
'Just hear those sleighbells ringeling, ting ting tingeling toooooo. Come on it's lovely weather for a sleighride together with youuuuuuu'
The playlist wasn't that large so every other hour the sleighbells would be dropping by. More lights, we need more lights. It has to be cozy and feel like Christmas, even though this is all still a month away.
'Ting ting tingeling toooooo'
I saw this article passing by today on how to not get in discussion with your mother in law or with your vegan cousin who all of a sudden doesn't want to eat from the same pan and is desperate to tell her story about how sorry she feels for animals and has started working for WWF.
'Ting ting tingeling toooooo'
How to not feed your uncle too much wine because he will get in the political discussion and we all know know religion and politics are the death of every fine evening.
How to not interfere with the raising of your little nephews since they are little critters and are destroying your house and harassing the dog and it is just a matter of time before he will bite one of their little claws off.
'Ting ting tingeling toooooo'
Ow the song never seemed to stop and the record is in a loop now.....
It has to be a nice setting and it doesn't matter that all of those people who you normally don't put together all of a sudden are stuck in the same room for hours and hours and have to make conversation.
To make it all lighter a board game gets involved until your little brother clears the whole board with one good wipe because he worked a nightshift and it still tired.
But he has to be there and he has to have fun and act normal.
'Ting ting tingeling toooooo'
Why is this record still stuck in a loop, am I the only one hearing this?
Christmas is statistically the day where the most dog biting incidents happen. Too many people in the house who normally aren't there for too many hours. Doggo doesn't get his normal rest and feels like he has to watch the whole family who are calling him every 2.8 seconds.
Uncle Fred has to proove again that he is such an animal lover. Little Benjamin imitates uncle Fred by picking up the dog who is annoyed and tired by that point and now he is fed up with it. Snap in the face!
Doggo gets sent to doggo heaven because he is a dangerous animal.
'Ting ting tingeling toooooo'
Ahhhhh, don't you just love Christmas? The most wonderful time of the year?
Unfortunately for so many of us Christmas is a time to be endured and we're all just counting down the hours until we can relax.
I guess for a lot of people this is actually the most stressfull time of the year because of what the other want for it. Here you have a first day of crhistmas and a second day of christmas. Is that the same by you or is christmas eve more of a thing?
Christmas Eve is usually a friends thing, Christmas Day is a balance of multiple families and spending a lot of time travelling and then Boxing Day is a big extended family thing. As an introvert I find it all extremely exhausting.
Breath in, breath out... almost done! :)
haha no worries here for me! Luckily everyone around here also is for the stress free christmas and we all take it very easy
how is yours?
I love the fun and imaginative way you describe the “perfect” Christmas accident!
I can just already imagine how the scene would look like in so many places. Especially when I hear other people talking on what they have to do...it sounds exactly like this.
Stressfree christmas here luckily! How is yours?
Mine went without much stress, I must confess. Gathered with my mother and brother for dinner in the Xmas Eve, and luckily we could manage to pass it without much friction... Ahahah
Christmas is a great time of year but it can also be quite challenging! The good part is when it’s all balanced; not too wild but not too tame. Hopefully you had a great Christmas season!
