After deciding to start living independently a few years ago, one of my resolutions was to live healthier. I have been adhering to that since then. One of my resolutions was to take the stairs at my workplace instead of the lift. My office is on the 8th floor, so it is not a walk in the park. Today I was a bit fatigued, so I was skeptical about following through, but I was dogged enough to convince myself. When I got to the fourth floor, my mind kept telling me to have a rest, or go in and use the lift as it was really close, but something, well not something actually; It was my mind also that made me unfazed and focused. The interesting part about this whole exercise was that I went past my floor before I realized I had gone past my floor and I wasn't even knackered yet. It dawned on me. My mind was only playing tricks on me.
Often times, we are the ones limiting ourselves, not allowing ourselves to reach our own full potential. I was listening to a podcast the other day and the speaker said "There is nothing stronger than a human's will". The universe always seems to step aside when you get to it. Our mind can be a propeller or an impediment. We get to decide that ourselves.
Absolutely, I can't agree more on this. We have the power to become what we want as long as we set our mind to it. It all start from the mind.
Agreed
Like you setting your mind to not letting external factors stop you from writing
Hehehehe... Yeah. Perfect example 🙈
😂
I'm sorry. I had to. I couldn't resist, lol
Hahaha 😂
I completely understand 😁
This is a very powerful message and I totally agree with you that it’s only in our minds that we have limitations. We can actually do anything we decide and put in the work to achieve.
Thanks for sharing this, really needed it at this time.
Thank you so much for the support Pearl.

I used to do quite a bit of running and one of the worst enemies for you when you are running is your own damn mind! That stupid thing will ruin a perfectly good run if you get into a negative mindset.
I’m actually jealous a little bit you get to go up so many stairs! I was in one of the best fitness shapes of my life when I was doing large volumes of stairs on a daily basis. It’s such good exercise!
You're so spot on.
I never realised the mind could do a number on one's entire activity like that, albeit I've known how immensely powerful it is.
You should get back to those hike/stairs complxty 😅

Thank you very much for the clarification, the intention is what counts. I am still a novice in this part. I hope you will excuse me, best regards.
