A Very Physical Day And A Bump On The Head ( What A Week!)

My eye has been healing quite nicely these past few days. I have been keeping it covered in the evenings, by wearing my pirate eye patch. Most of of my work this week has been quite physical, so I really needed both eyes to work efficiently. Yesterday was my busiest day, I had arranged for some water to come to the land that I take care of. The owner is visiting and wanted to get the pool filled. I had made sure that all the relevant water channel gates were open on the land, so that when the water arrived it would go straight to the pool.

Last year, there was a man who was responsible for maintaining the pool, however he retired this year, so it all fell to me. The water arrived, but I soon discovered that there must a a leak somewhere as the pressure was really low. I followed the water channel, then the connecting pipe and low and behold, in amongst some bushes, there was actually a piece of pipe missing. I then had to run and find another piece of pipe. Which I did, I attached it to the original pipe with some really strong gaffer tape. ( Which of course, is only temporary.) But not before I banged my head, (yes on the same side as my bad eye.)

It really is hard to be present, when a part of your body is irritated, in my case my eye. To really be able to focus on the job at hand, instead I found myself getting distracted. So much so, that I nearly fell twice. But that was later on, when I had to clean out the pool. Yes I was meant to be filling the pool and yes I did get the water to go in the pool, but the water itself was not clean and it brought with it, a lot of debris from the water channels and the pipe. And not just from the land, but the surrounding land that it passed through.

So after leaving it to fill and then checking on it a bit later, to see how quickly it was filling, a nice layer of mud had already begun to settle on the bottom.

So then, it was a matter of emptying out the water that I had already put in, so that I could begin cleaning the pool. I was already busy in the vegetable garden at this point, so I had to abandon that and get into the pool, which I almost slipped into. It has been quite the week for me, physically. I also found myself down a manhole, so that I could fit some metal mesh in front of the water gate leading to the pool, so that it would prevent any further debris from coming through.

All the while, I had to redirect the water onto other parts of the land. So as you can imagine I was super busy. Lots of climbing, running, sweeping and shovelling. Shovelling mud out of the pool, whilst nursing a sore head and an irritated eye, so no wonder I nearly tripped coming out of the pool. But you know what, I actually enjoyed most of it. I really do like, physical work, I always feel good after it. Tired but good and to top it all off, I had the best nights sleep, which is usually what happens, when I have had a good days work done.

So sorry about your eyes
Issues with the yes can be a lot to grapple with taless of when you manage that with all the hard work. You are really a strong woman and full of strength. The pool is looking beautifully taken care of

I do hope you eyes heals faster and do have a beautiful night rest

Holy moly, @trucklife-family, you're certainly getting a couple physical messages there! What side of your body is is? I'm glad that you enjoyed your pool adventure! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Hey @tydynrain, all on the right side. Hope all is well with you xx

Hiya, @trucklife-family! Oh, OK, that's often how it appears. The right is the masculine, outward-flowing, side. When we have challenges with our own internal masculine or feminine energies, it will manifest both in our interactions and relationships with the men and women in our lives, and in our bodies, often with tightness, pain, or injuries on the more-challenging side. Thank you very much, my friend, I very much appreciate that, and I hope everything is flowing beautifully for you too! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Not good you got a battle wound on the job! I’m glad that you guys got the work done though, as I think it’s important to take care of community spaces.
