Hello market men and women!
Welcome to my market Friday post.
It's another episode of my report on Friday market experience here using #marketFriday initiated and moderated by @dswigle
I went to the market situated in Itam LGA, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.
In the market, things were really expensive, like 10% from the previous price.
The retailers were like "There's little supply and higher demand".
This triggered the prices to skyrocket.
For example, a 120 g detergent that was sold at $0.3 last month is currently sold at $0.33 or more.
This to an extent altered my budget for the day.
I just bought stuffs not up to half of what was in my list while others were for the ears to listen to their recent price tags.
Below are few photos that I took.

While I was doing my hopping, I noticed that a lady in front of me was perplexed, guessed her way around.
I managed to have a decent conversation with her, but she was more frustrated that I could imagine.

In this period of lack and wants, our hope is on God.
Change is coming.

Thanks for spending time to read my market Friday post.
Do check back next week to read the latest update.
Do have and awesome weekend.
