I loved going to the Ramadan Bazaar with you! Such an interesting place and the food was absolutely endless! I cannot believe the different kinds from all over the world, enough to please even the fussiest person. You showed it off nicely and explained the different items, some of which I have never heard of! The Roti John looks like an American sub sandwich to me, you can put anything on it, from fish to meat to vegetables and a mix of all of them. A very popular lunch/dinner/snack menu item.
I really enjoyed exploring this and appreciate all the hard work putting it together and submitting it! Thank you! As an aside, you don't have to go to a food market, it is also a very cultural thing, as you showed us the culture here, Anywhere you must pay to get a service, movies, art museum, park, ANYWHERE! :) Have fun with it! I can see that you already do!
I want to thank you for being a part of the #MarketFriday Challenge. I have personally found there is always so much to learn about people, where they live, and how things are done in different parts of the world. For me, reaching out across the globe and learning about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, has been such a rewarding experience. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the rituals, festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... and what is normal for us? There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. We do differ in many ways, which makes us interesting and unique, but, there are many ways in which are so much alike.
