That is a huge mall, isn't it? I never go to malls, not for years and years, but, like you I would for specific things, I just don't have many of those things lately. All of our big, spendy stores have moved out of the malls or closed.
Okay, maybe only the ones I like... They always seem to tease me with a store, only to take it away. Perhaps I have bad taste? Anyway...
I am glad you are working with the insurance company on this. The only problem I have with this is how long they take to allow you to get it fixed, or could you get it fixed? Now that I say that, the answer is no, in case you can get a new phone instead. I wouldn't be able to not have a phone, especially if you have someone in your care or someone that you need contact with. I have not had the bad luck of ever having to replace my phone.
I am ashamed to admit that my phone probably hits the floor or pavement 3 to 4 times a week. I always think I am being careful, but, thankfully, and I really mean this! I am so shocked it is still with me.
You seem to have a really nice phone store there - I am glad for you! Good luck and hopefully, they will just give you a new one!
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday
It seems like we have much in common regarding going to malls and stores...lol.
The insurance company was sharp and on the ball all the time. The delay was with the cell phone company... But things took a turn for the better on Monday afternoon. Then everything started happening really fast. I've written a post about it that I will publish here in #MarketFriday tomorrow!
But yes I've got my phone back. As you say, it is utterly frustrating to be without a phone. You drop your phone 3 to 4 times a week...lol? Wow, luckily you didn't get any damage to it yet...hahaha. I have also dropped my phone before, but it happens very seldom to be honest. But this time, I was not so lucky. Face down, flat on the screen on the hard surface of our driveway...🙈!
They repaired my phone, fitted it with a new battery as well, and for now, it seems like new!
Yay!! Im so happy it had a great ending!
I just noticed now... Thank you for the nice Hive Tip, @dswigle! I'm always late to notice it...but I do pick it up...🙈😅! And I do appreciate it, thank you👍!
