Ha! I have to agree with you. I thought I was the only person in the world that thought that ramen was just okay. To me, I have never found any that was better than that. Wait! One, but, it was not here in the States. I actually think it was in Asia. Somewhere in Asia. I should have remembered that! Can't believe I don't!
The ramen was presented really nice, I like the little extras they do to make it look more appetizing! I have to give it to this place! It wins in my book, just for that! The sushi looked nice (again!) I will say the red sauce kind of reminded me of the Korean ramen, which sometimes has a red soup/sauce. It is not my favorite as I think that one is a little bit saltier (and not in a good way) This one is not as red and not Korean, so I am not comparing, so you know! :)
Glad to hear that you may have found a passable one!!!! May I ask why you are on a mission to find one? I have almost given up and feel like I can probably live, even without the aid of ramen! I know! I am odd!!! Good luck! You have a lot more to go!!! Thank you for participating in #MarketFriday! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into putting a post together for the challenge. It is with great pleasure that I read through and realize how much we have all tried to include things in our world that may be unique to the area. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.

I have always been interested with Japan and of course ramen, which they are also known for. With all that I know about Japan, it is a let down that ramen does not taste that good - as far as what I have tasted so far. I guess I set my expectations too high. That's why the quest for great ramen is still on :D
