Prickly Market - A Market Friday Contribution

Hello my Hive friends. It's Friday once again. It's one of my most awaited day of the Week! It's time for the popular #MarketFriday tag hosted by @dswigle. This is an initiative I highly recommend you join or at least know more about. Just click on the link here and have a real cool Hive experience you'll always look forward to.

For this Friday, I have decided to take a break from my hardware depot posts and revisit our favorite garden and plant shop. We needed some garden soil and plant hangers so we dropped by. While my wife was going about her purchase I took time to go over some of the plants offered, but concentrated on the prickly ones. For starter, here's an aloe vera.

I found this really small one and my wife bought it.

She said it will look good on the table.

What do you think?

And that ends my Market Friday post. Thanks for dropping in and I hope you enjoyed it. Again, I would like to add some bloopers - pictures that were out of focus or misshot and couldn't make the main post. Your indulgence is highly solicited.

And you didn't get any cactus? :o

Guilty 😢 😢. Still no place to grow them where they will be dry and safe. But we're working on it. You'll surely know as I will tag you when I do buy them. Thanks for the visit. Hope you have a blessed weekend.

Oh yes please tag me! I want to see them all :)

My favorite! I love it when people take their birth to Friday to a plant shop because I get to see the different plants from around the world. many are the same but there are a lot of very unique things to me. no matter where I go, I usually make sure I have an aloe vera. I have found that they are the best practical plant to have in the house, especially with kids. I lived in the desert for a few years and so cactuses are not uncommon to me, but I can say that any that I put in my yard seemed to take over my yard! So I stopped buying cactus.

I love the little small one that you bought, almost like little sparklers on a stick! Thank you so much for sharing your adventure with us! I love going shopping with you and your wife!

As for me, I moved closer to the Northeast of the United States, so cactus doesn't grow as well here, although some are pretty resistant to our mild winters. Which surprised me! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to join the challenge! You always surprise me with your posts and take us with you. I loved the nursery! Although you really rocked that lighting store! :)

I appreciate the love and support you are giving to #MarketFriday! Without you and people like yourself, I wouldn't be able to have such a successful challenge! I know that at this time, it is harder to find something to fit the challenge. On a good day, it takes a lot of time and effort to be part of, so it means a lot to me that you participate. I hope you know that there is great latitude in what Market means. It can be typical of where you shop for food, or it can be a unique place that you visit. Thank you again for being a part of all this and I hope that you will, indeed, have a great day and week ahead! If you or any of your friends are in doubt about how to participate, this should clear it all up!Thank you for all you do!
