When a weekend like today arrives, we are delighted to share the beauty of the world's true marketplaces. This has always been the lovely princess of the hive blockchain @dswigle's initiative. We join forces with you, @dswigle, and the rest of the hivers throughout the globe to display beauteous items from various marketplaces around the world. Ghana has always been regarded as one of the greatest destinations to share market beauty.

Today I went for a tour around the Dr Mensah market. It is a section of the major market in Kumasi. Dr. Mensah is a little out of the way from the major central markets, yet it connects several of the market's key streets. One of the few annoyances I feel anytime I set foot here is the large amount of people. The market is constantly crowded with individuals who are interested in buying and selling.

The market contains a wide variety of things that everyone need from a market. The pricing is one of the many reasons people visit this location. Most food supplies are purchased in bulk here and then sold in smaller quantities to our localities in the different communities. When it comes to the beauty of the Ghanaian market, its colorful character is something to be proud of. Every street in the market is teeming with dealers and customers. This makes vehicular mobility difficult at times. Because I didn't have enough time to go around the market today, I took a few shots from the different sections I visited.

During my tour around the Dr Mensah market today, I was unable to purchase a single thing. I wanted to buy some tubers, but going to the area where they are sold was making me nervous. But I'm pleased I had this experience to share with my readers today. This is my entry for today's #marketfriday on the hive blog. Thank you to everyone.

Isn't the market an arena of war @mcsamm?

A place to beat each other between sellers and buyers.

Sometimes we win there as buyers, but we are always beaten by them more often.
They are the owners of the battlefield.
Ha.. ha..

Hahaha not really a war arena. But it's so traditional and items are much cheaper. It has always been fully packed and that brings out its beauty.

Dr.Mensah market area always look busy with a lot of sellers and buyers. People are doing business and making more profit at this place than anyone could ever imagine. I think that's where the money is😊. You did great showing us around @mcsamm

It really was too crowded today. But l enjoyed passing through. Thanks for your addition bro @collinz.

I read your post and upvoted it 100% and reposted it. I apologize that it has been a week so busy that I didn't have time to finish personal messages on each post. For this, I am sorry as that is the best part of the challenge. (Honestly, reading is, you have no idea how much I learn!) Please know that this doesn't happen often and #MarketFriday enjoys having the opportunity to make a dash around the world weekly.

Thank you for participating in the challenge!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
