Hello Hivesters,

This is @mcsamm, and I'm bringing you a beautiful beauty from Ghana today. It is a beauty that not only depicts actual beauty but also demonstrates the true essence of the Ghanaian people. As culture has expected us to demonstrate our pride in what we do, I am happy to highlight one of the fundamental elements that distinguish us as a people with a shared objective. I'm sharing a snippet from today's market on #marketfriday, an initiative of @dswigle here on the blockchain.

When I was wondering where to shop today, it occurred to me to go to the Woodin shop in Amakom, Kumasi. It's a wonderful shop located within the Kumasi City Mall. Woodin has proven to be one of Ghana's top businesses dedicated to selling locally created prints throughout the years. It offers a wide range of fabrics that are made only in Ghana and Africa. Woodin not only sells locally created clothing, but also ensures that all printed textiles in their stores have patterns and styles that best complement Ghanaian beauty.

These garments I found here today are so beautiful that they can't be explained. They have symbols of Ghanaian Adinkra symbols, each with a different meaning. These emblems and motifs on the outfits convey a specific message about the Ghanaian people. They are all representative of Ghanaian culture in some way. Below are the various scenes l could capture from the woodin shop l visited today.

As Ghanaians, we are proud of our history. Apart from their attractiveness, these textiles are quite reasonable for everyone's purchase. It is not prohibitively expensive for a Ghanaian to obtain a copy of them. Woodin fabrics are transformed into stunning garments. Ladies adore wearing gowns made of wooding textiles.

Ghanaians have acquired a great liking for locally printed textiles in recent days, and not only because they are inexpensive. Because of the beauty they provide. A skilled tailor or seamstress may simply transform these textiles into a stunning appearance for your purpose. I was able to obtain a piece of these textiles for an upcoming event in my area.

However, several events and ceremonies are planned to be held this Christmas. In this sense, a location like Woodin will see a large number of individuals buying more clothes in order to appear nice. Even though people like purchasing locally printed textiles like these, there is a significant demand for manufactured in Ghana products, which will increase income and jobs.

After traveling through this woodin store and making my purchase today, I finished my excursion to the market on Friday and returned home. I'm really thrilled to share my market experience with all HIV-positive people on the blockchain. The weekend is almost approaching; let us all be cautious and shop wisely on the #marketfriday challenge.

Sort:

a very large selection of fabrics and very beautiful colors!

Thanks for your words dear. It feels simply good to see you @tali72

This is fabulous and impressive...

Almost all African countries have shops like this because we Africans take pride in our fabrics and it is one of the things that makes it easy to recognise us wherever we are.

The price is also based on the quality of the fabrics, but there is always something affordable for everyone.

Somehow, I'm one of those that are never okay with wearing traditional attires. Lol. I like to see it on paper but I don't wear it

Thanks so much bro @kenechukwu97. I am so much into wearing locally printed fabrics. They give me a special look and easy on me too. I am excited to see you here and with your support too. Africa truly is made of beauty beyond compare.

Yeah Bro... The only sad thing about Africa is the strange politics and the stuff that revolve around the economies, but that aside, Africa is a nice place.

That's so true. Greedy leaders making life unbearable. It surely shall be well someday. Have a great weekend bro.
