Hello dear Hivers
Last weekend my niece hosted a pool party with her friends at our home.. She warned us that they are going to be loud and we might not be able to get a restful sleep. On short notice, we searched for a nearby hotel where we can stay just for 1 night.
We found the Viv Hotel, one of the newer hotels near Disneyland, just 5 miles from home. One night would cost us a whopping $259.00, which we thought was exorbitant! But a part of us wanted to check it out, so we bit the bullet anyway.
We are sharing some pictures, so tell us if it’s worth the price.
The outside lounge area on the ground floor has a nice ambiance. It looks like a resort with comfortable and cushioned seats.
The spacious lobby with cushioned seats where guests can relax while waiting for their turn to check-in.
The Oasis Pool, one of the two pools of the hotel is located on the ground floor offers a 360-degree view.
The beautiful rooftop pool ….the lights on the streets below and the buildings around the property, were such a fabulous sight!
The carpet on the hallway was very artsy and colorful.
These Star Wars characters brought out the kids in us.
Valencia at the Viv is a Mexican restaurant. We ordered some food and my favorite dessert, the churros.
The bedroom has a king-size bed which was soft, clean, and spacious. We sure had a good night’s sleep!
Will I come to Viv hotel again? Maybe, next time I’ll have my niece pay for it!
Hahaha...so you were forced-out of your house but stayed in a relaxing hotel..well, the hotel you have been to was pricey..but the comfort was there and that's the important thing.
Cannot say no to her but she owes me one night stay at a hotel of my choice.
^So you will rebound with choosing a lovely hotel...Make it sooner !

You just cannot put a price on luxury like that, or a good night's sleep. I think that it was a fair price for the comfort and for letting your niece have a good time. The pool party will be remembered long after you forget how poor it made you for the one night. 😁
