#MarketFriday by @dswigle.

I have not participated in Market Friday since weeks. Maybe since months. This is a very good occasion. There is a huge Easter market in Szolnok, Hungary. In front of the Hotel Pelikán, and in front of the Aba-Novák Agóra cultural center, on the Hild János square.

Red-White-Green. The pattern of the Hungarian flag with separate flags. The Aba-Novák Agóra cultural center is on the left side, the Hotel Pelikán is on the right side.

The temperature is 10 °C. The weather is spring-like. The place is crowded. There are many people in this market, and there are also many kinds of things in this market.

I took these photos with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12). I have not edited these photos.

This is a little bit early (Easter will be exactly one week later, on 2022.04.17), but Happy Easter to everyone.

Thank you for coming with me on this "Market Friday" on Sunday. 😂

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Wow, that's like a jump in my past when I spent 6 months in Wageningen (NL) and every Saturday a market like that was taking place.
The best memory I have is about "Gouda" a typical dutch cheese, that exists in more than 365 different forms (and different flavors). I loved it! And you grabbed a wonderful memory I had.
Thanks for that!

I have not tried that so far, but I heard that Gouda is one of the most successful and one of the most known Dutch cheese, which takes almost the 50% of the Dutch cheese production. I happy that my post made you remember pleasant memories.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

Hell yeah man, awesome market shots. The slightly nicer weather is nice.

I am very happy for this weather, and according to the weather forecast, it will become warmer (around 20 °C) in the next week.

It looks beautiful out, although I see some coats, so that tells me it might be nice, but, not warm yet. :) I love that the wonderful markets are popping up all over the city. the flags, pride in the country is always nice to see. I love wandering through the markets, not so much to buy but I like to look at the handcrafts that so many talented people do. Did you see anything that you liked?

All different kinds of foods and drinks, including wine! Looks like a wonderful day! Glad you got out and wandered. Even if you don't like the markets, it is a nice and different thing to do once in a while. Happy Early Easter!!! :) Nice post!

MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through by their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.

Yes. This is true. I was also in coat. The weather is not warm yet, but it is pleasant, compared to winter.

Did you see anything that you liked?

There were many interesting things, but I have not bought anything so far. The market is still on (probably until Easter), so it is still possible to buy something. Maybe I will try one of their foods. For example a pie. We will see.

I already bought chocolate eggs and chocolate bunnies in the previous week, but not in this market.

All different kinds of foods and drinks, including wine! Looks like a wonderful day! Glad you got out and wandered.

I often do this, but usually not in/around markets, because usually there are no markets in Szolnok, Hungary.

Even if you don't like the markets, it is a nice and different thing to do once in a while.

I do not have any problem with the markets. If I see something, which would fit into Market Friday, then probably I take a few (or many) photos.

Happy Early Easter!!! :) Nice post!

Thank you. Happy Easter to you too. And to everyone else too.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

You too!

that looks like a very crowded place.
even it is 10degree and so many people are going out. I might just stay inside, it is too cold for me.

10 °C is a pleasant temperature for me. Our winters are much colder than this. Often below -10 °C, sometimes below -20 °C, and rarely below -30 °C.

We had a cold record of -35.50 °C in the Bükk on 2021.02.13. This is cold, even in Russia. And extreme cold in my country (in Hungary).

Have a nice day and have a nice weekend.
All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

wow -20 that is way too much for me to handle, i will be freezing even inside of the house. .
