As the owner of your PC or the administrator of your office computer, Microsoft has included a folder called Windows Administrative tools. This folder, just as the name suggests, contains important tools to help you set up your computer to work in a particular efficient manner.
Many PC owners struggle to fix their computer to work well. The administrative tools was designed to help you find everything you need to set up your computer in one box. Whether you want to execute some disk cleaning on your drives, or schedule some tasks or you want to view computer and operating system information, this administrative folder is for you. And to use it, you have to be the system admin.
In this presentation, I will demonstrate how to access this folder in your computer and also explain what some of the tools found in this folder could be used to do.
Let me start by demonstrating how to access and open the Windows admnistrative tools folder.
How to Open Windows Admin tools folder
There are many ways to launch the admin folder, but we are going to see the easiest of them all. Check out the following steps:
Step 1: On the search box, type Windows Administrative tools. Click the app to open as you can see below:

You can see all the tools inside the folder once it opens. Now we are going to understand what some of these tools could be used for. Take a look at the folder contents below. Lets describe the functions of just 3 of these tools:

1. Computer Management: The Computer management tool is an integrated environment that contains numerous tools and settings that could be used to optimize your computer. The 3 major sections in that window include System tools, Storage, Services and Applications. Take a look below:

Inside each of these 3 main sections are various tools that could be used to set up the computer. For example, under system tools, we see the device manager which is an important component used to ensure that all hardware attached to the PC have matching drivers that are working well.
Under storage, we see Disk management, a component that helps you see how your disk drives are performing and other actions that could be performed on the disk drives. From the above summary, you can see that the Computer Management tool alone is complex and contains a lot of components that could be used to configure your computer and optimize it.
2. Disk Cleanup: A very important utility in the admin tools folder. Disk cleanup is a tool used to remove residual files and free up your disk. Whether they are temporal internet files, files sent to the recycle bin, or even temporary installation files, Dick clean up can be used to get rid of these files and free up disk space to allow saving of more useful files. Take a look below:

You can see from this screenshot, the Disk Cleanup for my drive C. I have up to 4.31 GB worth of files sitting on my disk. Of course I am not bothered, this is a 500GB hard disk. But if you have a hard disk with small space, 4 GB would represent a significant number. So with this utility, I can clean up the files that are no longer needed and free up storage space.
3. System Information: This is another important utility inside the Admin tools. Just as the name suggests, this tool displays a little detailed information about your PC and its components. Take a look below:

The System information includes information about system manufacturer, description of operating system, BiOS and other computer hardware. For example from the above, you can see that I am running Windows 10 Pro Operating system. Of course, Microsoft Corporation is the maker. And my computer is Dell.
The above and many other Details about my PC are found in System Information. of course, this information could be super useful when you are trying to buy a new computer. You really need to know the hardware configuration and you can get it all through the system information tools.
Finally
The Windows 10 Administrative tool is packed with everything needed to configure your PC and make it work the way you like. I just explained 3 of these tools. maybe in future publications, we can take a slightly deeper look at how each of these tools could be used to optimize your PC.
Note: All images are mine. I did the screenshots from my Win 10 PC.
