Pain is the major thing regarding kidney stone if they are large enough. Most of them are small approx 5 mm which comes out through urination without even being noticed.
If a person tires very hard to expel it, it can tear the urethra, depending on the type of the stone. Most commly by calcium oxalate stone as it is spiky
